I had tonsilittis, but took the anitbiotic for it and it came back. So I started another course after I was finished. My Throat did not feel the same almost like I had smoked menthol cigs. but I hadn't. Three days later what felt like pepper in my throat and chills and body pain. I was put on Cipro 500 mg twice a day for ten days. I didn't take my dose this morning and all the symptoms came back including my neck pain, head ache, slight chills. Do I have the flu or should I have my tonsils removed? I talked to the Dr. and she said that they looked fine, but I keep getting tonsilittis it just has never been this bad before.
