I have had a sore throat and what has felt like sores in my throat for 3 days. Today I do see bumps on the very back of my tongue, can not see my throat to see if any are back there. I have never had strep throat, so I do not know what that is like. I am in Wisconsin, so with the mumps in the midwest I have had 2 people bring that up to me. I did not read anything about sores or bumps when I researched a little online about the mumps, just about a sore throat. It is not sore when I swallow, but hurts when food or liquid touch it. I do not have a fever and feel fine.
