I've been having a sore throat for about a week now. I have small bumps in the back of my throat that are about the size of a pencil eraser. They are not pertruding out of my skin like a pimple would but are more under the skin. My throat is usually not very painful during the day, but it gets very sore at night. In the morning I wake up and my voice is real scratchy. I go to a college in Iowa and we have seen MANY MANY cases of the mumps. What is wrong?
