I have a slight sore throat, am a bit congested, not bad, yet have a bad earache . I am not running a fever. Also I am not home, as I am traveling and would prefer an OTC medicine untilI get home in a few days. Is there an anything I can take to revlieve my sore throat and earache?

Your ear pain could be coming from the sore throat. This is called referred pain. Ibuprofen or tylenol may be all that you need to get by. If your biggest complaint is the congestion, then add a decongestant like pseudophed. I predict that a little bit of advil could go a long way for you
