I have a throat infection and Zithromax always kills ...

I have a throat infection and Zithromax always kills the infection. Is there any medicene I can get over the counter that relates to Zithromax. I do not have time to go to the doctor to get a prescription, so I was just going to go to the local drug store. Please help!
