For the past few days I have had swollen glands on the side of my neck. There were white spots in my mouth that have now become some sort of mucus build up towards the back of my throat. My epiglottis clings to the right side of my mouth because of the mucus. It is extremely painful to swallow which makes it very difficult to consume food. Any ideas on what this may be, how it was caused and what I can do to get rid of it? Thanks.
