Two of my children are now sick. The oldest got sick may 1, and the youngest the day before that. Today is the 25th of may and both are still sick. oldest has been in hospital all week. Tests did not confirm a diagnosis. Symptoms are bad cough, fever, fatigue & sleepiness, sore throat (covered in white coating), sores in mouth, hoarseness and headaches. One also has right side pain under rib cage and pain in both legs. The other has rash around eye and has been vomiting. Neither has any appetite and both have lost weight. Any ideas on what this might be?

I would consider some type of tick bite.(not lymes) I would also want to see viral titers like cmv.
