I have been have a sore throat for the past two weeks now.

I have been have a sore throat for the past two weeks now. I have been to the docter twice about and both think its allergies i have been taking the med but its doing nothing ZIP. Whenever i open my mouth or talk or swallow or anything it kills me. They said i was negative for strep and i had no fever and its really weird because it is only my left side that hurts. My left tonsile and my left ear hurts when i swallow whats wrong with me.
