Ok this year I woke up Jan 1st with severe flu like symptoms and horrible sore throat with enlarged tonsils with off-white growths found on the Enlarged swollen tonsils membranes. I went to the doctor and they diagnosed me with strep throat. I was given penicillin which made me better immediately. 2-3 months later, I get the same exact symptoms except the flu like symptoms slightly milder. Went to the doctor and was diagnosed strep throat and given penicillin and again immediately better. It happened again 2 months ago and went to the doctor and was given medication and again better. Now 7 months after the 1st infection I have the same exact symptoms, minus the flu like symptoms but Enlarged Swollen Tonsils with off white growths in pockets of the swollen serrated tonsils. I am going to the doctor tomorrow I just hope it’s nothing serious? What could it be?
