Can you answer a few questions before I answer? I need some more information from you in order to give you the correct answer.
1) Have you had any fever or chills? If so how much and for how long?
2) Is there any kind of pus pockets (patches) on the back of your throat or on your tonsils? Usually these are white in color.
3) Have you taken any antibiotics for this?
