My 10 year old son has several large red bumps on the back half of his tongue. Smaller bumps towards the front of his tongue. What could be causing this? He does not complain of any pain and does not show any other symptoms such as fever at the moment. He did complain of a sore throat about a week ago. He noticed this while brushing his teeth this evening.
