The most important Risk in patients of this condition is the development of peptic ulcer or ruptured peptic ulcer.

But you have undergone endoscopy which is negative for ulcers give a sigh of relief.

Just read the link regarding food stuff to eat and hopefully you will be fine by avoiding the contraindicated foodstuff

Pain is not a factor to be worried about.Worry also stimulates vagus nerve and cause increased secretion of HCL in gastric mucosa.

So avoid Hurry , Worry and Curry.

Pain is due to the effect of hypersecretion and reflux of Hcl .It is not normal but you need antacids and follow diet restrictions to cure it.

Cold milk intake will help you reduce pain.

Avoid chillies , cofee ,alcohol
