i cough out blood, what do i do?

I thought that was just a small of blood, but then i kept coughing out blood. Now i have to hold it in. The more I cough, more blood comes out. I feel like there's blood flowing out in my throat until i have to cough it out. how serious is this?

If it's more than a streak of blood then you need to be evaluated asap. It could be a tear in the blood vessel of the throat or esophagus. Some can heal on their own, but with the description you listed, you really need to be seen now. So please do go, as this is too much blood to be dealing with.

tear in the blood vessel of the throat or esophagus. If you have done any vomiting, if you have acid reflex etc.

Without an in person evaluation, there is no way to tell why it's occur etc., but if you are having that much and feeling it in your throat as well, you need to be seen tonight.
