Usually in these cases I would say to discontinue the Cipro and see a doctor but with your case, I feel that you should call a pharmacist or a doctor and ask about taking the Cipro. If you do have an infection, Cipro should start to take effect. Depending on how old the Cipro is, it may not have the strength to combat an infection any more which is why you need to call a doctor or a pharmacist to find out. Your symptoms sound viral but could very well be bacterial. I would take Tylenol if you have it instead of Ibuprofen and you are doing great with taking the decongestant. I would give this 4-5 more days and if it gets worse or you start running a fever you need to see a doctor. The Cipro should work but you need a doctor or a pharmacist to verify this.
