Question

My husbands lips his left cheek are swollen...?!?!?

Sent to Health Experts August 13, 2006 2:05 p.m.

My husbands lips (on the left side) and his left cheek are swollen. It started yesterday with just his bottom lip, but this morning it seems to have spread considerably. What could this be and should he go to urgent care today (or is tomorrow soon enough)? He explains that it hurts and feels tingly.

He may have an infected tooth or abcess or some sort of allergic reaction to a chemical , food or an insect bite.
