My granddaughter has sore in her mouth and has painfulswallowing with a very foul breath and temps from 100-105. Is this strep throat?

What is her age?What is the location of sore?

Is this single sore?

Any associated coughing?

Is the Throat seems to be reddish?

Any history of tonsillitis?

Since how long she has this sore?

Any associated skin lesions?

Reply to Dr AMIT MUNJAL's Post: Her age is 18 months. There are multiple sores and there is a redness in her throat. There are no skin lessions and no history of tonsilitis and only a slight cough

Hello

Painful swallowing, Fever,Bad breath,congested throat could suggest possibility of pharngitis with tonsillitis.

This can be either from a streptococcal or viral.You should consult a paeditrician for throat examination .
