tounge and throat swelling
Sent to Health Experts September 25 07:35 PM

i am a 22 year old female. over the weekend i was drinking a soda and all of a sudden when i was swallowing, i felt a sharp pain starting under my tounge and go down in my throat. Then maybe 20 mins later, the spot under my tounge was still hurting so i lifted up my tounge and i looked in the mirror...there is 2 parts under there that sort of make a V shape and the left one was very swollen. it hurt to swallow anything and it wasnt like a soar throat sort of pain. it was like my muscles hurt. then later on in the day i looked in the mirror and i noticed the area under my jaw right before it rounds up towards the ear was swollen too. there is actually a lump there if you feel around. all this happened thursday night and it is now monday and it is still happening. the swelling will go up and down but everytime i eat something it seems to get worse. is there anything i can do to make this stop. thank you-amber
