I have what I believe to be a viral infection with sore white patches on my throat and difficulty swallowing for the past 4 days. This morning, I started having tingling in my finger tips mostly and slightly in my toes. Are these symptoms possibly related? What could be a possible diagnosis?

You may have a case of strep throat. Have you had a throat culture? Strep can spread throughout your system and effect your heart. This may be the cause of the tingling. I would see the doctor tomorrow for further investigation.
