I have a odd pain that occurs sometimes when I eat or drink. I get a sharp pain in my throat which feels like I have something stuck in my throat and hurts constantly but it is very strong when push my tongue as far back and down my throat as I can. This pain usually goes away after 20 minutes or so, but I would like to know what could be causing it and what I could possibly do to stop it because it really hurts.

My throat feels like something is stuck in it and usually it feels this way from time to time when I eat. The feeling usually goes away within a short period of time but I have now had this feeling for a full day. I think for some reason my throat is getting cut because I put a qtip in my throat and there was some blood on it, but why would this happen? what can I do to keep it from happening? and what might make it heal faster?
