my son has ear infection and is taking antibiotics ,he also has severe sore throat ,i see what looks like puss in his throat i am giving him tylenol and useing throat spray he keeps having a returning fever i am keeping fluids in him his urine is clear i keep puting him in the tub to break fever as i can only give him tylenol every 4hr,our doctor says he thinks he has mononucleosis he had blood work done and waiting for results ,is throat is swollen and am concerned is this normal with this virus or do i need to seek asst now?
