I took 45MG of Armour Tyroid for years, due to financial situations, I stopped taking it 4 years ago. I recently went and had a thyroid screen done and it resulted in my TSH being 1.24. It also stated that the reference range is 0.40 - 5.5, so does this mean that my thyroid is normal? I really need to understand before I go to the expense of going to a doctor. If it is normal, why did I take the 45MG all those years? or can your thyroid get better? Please help! Thank you!
