Depression Meds and Migraines

Hello. I am having trouble finding the answer to a question about thyroid testing. I am to have a RAI Thyroid Scan and Uptake due to hyperthyroidism of as yet unknown cause. I guess you know the protocol for this but here it is anyway: The first day, I am to ingest a pill which contains some radioactive iodine substance, and the actual testing occurs the following day. I have been searching for information online about this, since I have a husband and 2-year-old at home. I have found information about how, if I end up having to receive the six months of radioactive iodine therapy, I would need to avoid my family (and anyone else) for several days (!!!). However, I am unable to find info as to what happens during the 1st 24 hours (and next few days) after taking the pill just for the test itself. (Did I explain that right?) Hope you have the answer to that or can direct me to a source who does. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this long question!

Hello. My new neurologist wants me to go on nortriptyline to help prevent frequent and severe migraines. I currently take Celexa for depression, and I am concerned about changing to something else in terms of the effect on my depression. I've expressed my concerns, and he assures me it's not going to cause a problem. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks.
