I have numerous small sebaceous glands on my penis that I find unsightly. Is there any way to get rid of them? What causes them in the first place?

If they are not bothering you, it is recommended to leave them alone. If there are several, you can have them surgically removed another possible form of treatment can injection of steroids. Generally these are due to infected follicles. Which can be due to oily skin, sweat and body grease etc can cause them to appear. Some men are just more prone to this than others. If you have not have a full blood work up, I would suggest this, just to make sure hormone levels, thyroid etc are functioning properly as well. In the mean time make sure to wash the effected area well with antibacterial soap too.

Reply to Lindie's Post: You mentioned antibacterial soaps...would any topical application utilizing Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide have any effect on eliminating these?
