After 6 months of being treated with T3 for

Sent to Health Experts May 31, 2006 4:07 p.m.

After 6 months of being treated with T3 for Wilson's Thyroid Syndrom, My body temperature still was running between 95.6 and 97.   Even on the high doses, I did not see any measurable movement.   I did lose some weight.   Then, I got discouraged and decided that the T3 was not really working.   Now - it has been over 4 months since I took the meds and wondering if I should try it again.   I never really felt that confident with my practitioner......and she seemed vague at times.   Is there actual proof that T3 can be helpful with those of us who have had hypo thyroid problems since age 13.????
I turn 60 years old in July - I am getting tired of this.
Thanks
