I have had a thyroid condition for over 10 years now and it has been controlled with medication. (hypothyroidism) recently my TSH was very low however and my doctor lowered the thyroid medication that I was taking. We waited 6 weeks and a full thryoid profile and thyroid antibody profile was sent away. I am taking 200 mcg of Synthroid, and my TSH was 25.84, T4 was 4.45, Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody was greater than 1:1000, and Anti-Thryroid Antibody was high at 172. What is going on with me and should I be taking the medication?
