I am on effexor xr and ativan. Plus I have hypothyroidism and am on synthroid. But these symptoms never go away. I am afraid I am dying. I have four kids and need to b e here. Because of the thyroid I gained alot of weight also.

How can youknow if it is your anxiety or something more serious. I can't sleep. I have sooooo many symptoms. I used to be much more normal than this but boom in the middle of the night 2 yrs ago I woke and just thought I was dying and now it won't go awya. I have tried paxil welbutrin so many things. what if it is more serious than anixety.

Have you thought about going to counseling? Perhaps discussing your feelings may be beneficial. Also the therapist might be able to offer self help tips tailored to your needs.

Have you been to the doctor lately to determine if your thyroid levels are within normal limits? Of not, that might be a good idea to determine if your synthroid level is providing adequate coverage.

You will be just fine. It is doubtful that you have a tumor or die. It is good that you are due for a thyroid check. Assuring your medication level is adequate will determine if your symptoms are related.

Sometimes, it takes a few different therapists before you find one that you feel comfortable with, do not give up yet.

I tend to believe that you may suffer from anxiety.

Here is some info related to heart attack so you know the warning signs:

Anxiety is normally a primary consideration when all testing is negative.

Is it possible you may be depressed?
