weight gain
Sent to Health Experts September 29 10:51 AM

I have gained approx. 40 pounds in a matter of 3 months. The same exact thing happened 5 years ago which was pretty strange. At that time I had gained 50 pounds and then lost the weight just as fast as I gained it and didn't diet or anything. Most of my life I have been thin even too thin. Do you have any idea what could cause such a strange thing? I do not overeat. I know it sounds crazy but trust me it's the truth not just an excuse for being overweight. Any ideas?

This type of weight gain/loss can also be effected by your thyroid levels as well. I don't know if this test was performed as well. However if the results came back in the low or high of normal, there can still be a problem, and I would suggest seeing an endocrinologist at this point, as they do deal with this and are more knowledgeable than a family doctor.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don't forget to click the *ACCEPT* button and leave *POSITIVE* feedback.
