For the last 3 years, and worse now, I cannot control ...

For the last 3 years, and worse now, I cannot control the loss of my bowels. I do not even know (feel) it happen. I can go to the bathroom every two hours, and it still happens. Some times I pass gas , and it happens. What could be wrong, it is so embrassing I'm 56 years old.
