Hello, My husband had his Thyroid removed in 1982.

Hello,
    My husband had his Thyroid removed in 1982. Secondary to Thyroid Carcinoma. He has been on Synthroid .2mcg po qd for
years. He's soon to be 48. His Dr. retired. A new young Internal
specialist is now his Dr. Joe's previous Dr. always had Joe run high
with his TSH levels suggested by the Radioligst/Oncologist and has
had No Problems!!! Now this new Physician has cut Joe's synthroid
back to .175mcg po q day. Joe's latest level was .083. He has gained signifigant wt. is sluggish, "bloaty" , feels awful!!! And the
new Dr. wants to cut his synthroid back even more! Joe has been
cancer free for 25 yrs.!!! I am a Critical Care Nurse and I am butting
heads with this new approach. My husband is MISERABLE!! WHAT
