I am 5 weeks pregnant and a coworker is getting radiation ...

Sent to Health Experts March 08, 2007 2:42 p.m.

I am 5 weeks pregnant and someone at my work is getting radiation therapy for their thyroid. Their doctor says that they cannot be in close contact with pregnant women for a week. She will not be in work for the first 3 days. What should I do for the times that we work together? Is keeping my distance from her good enough? How serious is this?
