I still need a little bit more. I imagine that you had blood testing done for your thyroid, to make sure that the dose you are receiving is appropriate. I'm not sure why you would have had blood testing for your white blood cell counts. This is usually done via a CBC, or "complete blood cell" count. Looking at the white blood cell count gives us a sense of whether or not you have an infection or a blood cell cancer, or any sort of other inflammation. The red blood cell measures (hematocrit) indicates whether or not you are infected, and the measures of the platelet count indicate whether you have a problem clotting blood, and can also indicate whether or not you have an infection or inflammatory process.
Can you tell me the results? Has your doctor given you any other information? What other medical problems do you have? Did you have the analysis done on a routine visit, or when you were in the hospital?
