I have had a strange beating like rap music at worst times and at better times like a cat purring in the left side of my head. A friend cartiologist recommended a friend of his I have had 2 mri s done and at first they thought they had seen something on the external left ventrical but after 2 catscans I am 'fine' and nothing was seen.
I can hear it beating all the time. It started last May and started occationally then lasted august- early november solid, it came occationally in dec.-feb. , but now over the last 3 weeks it has returned solid. I have had an ultrasound and ekg done of my heart all is well. My eyes are fine. I do have thyroid problems and hashimotos. Last June I had a strange thing happened to my face where I thought I had a stroke But have been completely reasured it was definatly not I am a 37 year old female mother of 3 and extremely active. I dont have a family practice doctor . I saw a nerologist and he cant figure it out. Asprin, motrin and tylonal have no affect.

the sound when its hard is like going into the back of a circuit city store when they are playing rap music boom ba boom sshs sshboom

when its calm it sounds like a cat purring

I have had a problem with being so tired more lately. I have also had a problem with anxious leg syndrom and I tried that new medicine but it seemed to affect and weeken my muscles so I stopped taking them

Have you used any medication for a long time?

Have you had any injury to you head?

Are you aware if you have:

atherosclerosis
high blood pressure

Of course the doctors that examined you checked you for buildup of ear wax?

I had a few months where it was a little high and tried meds. but they affected my muscles too so I stopped and my blood pressure has been average since

as for athrosclerosis I am not too familiar with it

I do not nor ever have I smoked or used drugs
I really do not ever drink , occationally a glass aprox. 1 month

I am wondering about autoimundifficint diseases
would lupis respond this way?

I have not had any head injurys but i have always had alittle trouble with my neck. nothing major but in the xrays after the thing in my face last june they notice I have a reverse curve developed. I have been developing a worse memory
