Question

I have infrequent periods when I am not taking oral ...

Sent to Health Experts May 18, 2007 1:10 a.m.

I have infrequent periods when I am not taking oral contraceptives. When I am taking oral contraceptives I have steady, regular period intervals. My age is 26. I am looking forward to having children within the next couple of year; however I am worried that I will be unable to bear children once I am prepared to do so. My GP says I should not worry, that my hormones can be compromised in pill form. I am still uncertain and would like your opinion. The approximate period count off the pill (note: have been on the pill for about 2 years) are about 3-4 times/calendar year.

Thank you.
