before i had my third child my periods were very light and ...

before i had my third child my periods were very light and only lasted for about 3-5 days. now they are out of control and are very heavy. alot,alot of bleeding. sometimes i just have to sit in the bathroom. reminds me of when you have your period right after childbirth. also, i am not on the pill anymore. is this normal?
