My sister was diagnosed with Medullary Thryoid cancer- she has been receiving radiation treatment but hasn't had too much luck. The doctors want to try "seeding" vs. external treatments. Because of the location of her tumor they have said it would destroy her vocal cords if they tried to remove it, also we were told that Chemo was not an option. Can you tell me about seeding, what it does, the effects,pro's and con's and long term results as far as recovery are?
