i have a lump on my inner thigh

after doing some sit ups this evening, i decided to stretch. i was laying on my back with my legs spread apart and noticed a lump inside of my right thigh (closer to my genitals) what COULD this be?? I am a 24 year old woman.

It sounds as though it could be a boil. Which are prone to be on the inner thigh. But without seeing it does make it a bit hard.

Reply to Lindie's Post: thanks for replying so fast! but it doesn't feel like a boil (i've had one of those annoying things before)and the lump is on the inside...it doesn't hurt either AND this is the first time I've seen this.

Without seeing it.. makes it hard. Is it possible it could be a wart? I don't know how close it is to your genital area. Warts are usually painless. It doesn't sound as though it would be herpes.

Only other thing I can think of at the moment is a Sebaceous Cysts
