why do i have reocurring tiny blisters on the bottoms and sides of my feet. They do not look like typical plantar warts (according to the pictures online).

Optional Information: Male , Age: 29
Already Tried:
I was told by a podiatrist they were plantar warts... he burned them off...the wound healed...the blisters came back. I tried duct tape...left it on for 2 months...warts came back. I have done some research on plantar warts...and these DO NOT look like the pictures I have seen of plantar warts online. they itch terribly...no pain from walking...until i pop the blister from scratching continuously.

Scroll down to where it talks about Vesicular infections. It sounds as though it may be this. Since this is skin related a dermatologist is who you should seek help from not a podiatrist.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask.

Hi waj

Constant itching and irritation are typical signs of contact dermatitis, which gets worse the harder and longer it's scratched.

Taking oral antihistamines usually relieves the itching; applying a corticosteroid cream or ointment heals the skin.

Meanwhile, it's important to identify and eliminate the cause, possibly a certain pair of shoes or stockings or the detergent used to wash socks or bed sheets.

Hope that helps,

Kerry
