Today I noticed a small, pimple-like bump on my vulva. It is not itchy, and it does not burn - in fact, i probably wouldn't have noticed at all if i hadn't been looking. It is by itself; not clustered with any other bumps. I am writing to find out what it may be. I am a virgin, and I have never received oral sex. I do get a cold sore every few years around my mouth - the last time was over a year ago and before that was at least 5 years earlier. Should I be worried that this is a symptom of herpes, or is it possible that it is just an ingrown hair or pimple?

From your description and with it being painless it sounds as though she may have what's called sebaceous cyst. Which can occur where your is located.
