I am an overweight 20 yr old... I have only had about 5 periods in my life, one of which was brought on by birth control(prescibed to see if it would do so), the other two years later naturally. Both times I was bed ridden because the bleeding and blood loss were unbearable(dizzy and naseated, and passing rather substantial blood clots) I do not suffer from polycystic ovaries. What is up? I have not had a period for 2 1/2 years and live in fear! .

Hi

No period for 2.5 years is very abnormal and certainly a very significant symptom in someone of your age. A full and detailed assessment is merited.

Can you tell me what tests you have had already?
