Thanks for answering my questions. I am sorry that you are going through this. The heavy period that you describe is called menorrhagia. There are several possible causes: hormonal fluctuations, fibroids, polyps, cancer,, lupus, thyroid disorder among others.
You need to have a good physical exam by your health provider or nurse midwife (they do all women's health care not just deliveries) to determine the state of your uterus, hormonal levels, and solutions to the bleeding.
