Hi Lynda,

You should not worry, there is no way child labour can damage your ovaries, this never happens. Nor do the ovaries get cold during labour. The ovaries in fact do not have any role at all to play in orgasm.

It is quite common for women not to have the full range of sexual satisfaction for some time after delivery. This occurs not due to any damage, there is no damage at all to the body. It in fact occurs mainly due to psychological factors, as the mother will be spending a lot of time with the baby and taking care of it. The normal sexual rhtym invariably returns quickly enough, there is no need to worry. It is certain to come back.

Reply to Dr. D. Evans's Post: Its been 27 monthe since the birth of my second child. I don't think that I really have had a real orgasm ever. I've never thought about it until now, I don't really have a huge sex drive anyway. Could it be psychological that maybe as a child I was told that sex especially before marriage is bad therefore I cant orgasm cause its probably harmed me in that way? mentally

Hi,

Orgasm in women is a complex event, and may not be easy for many. Earlier it was believed that some women just couldnt climax, but present sexual researchers generally accept that orgasm is acheivable for every woman.

It is certainly possible for you too. A comment like that made in your childhood is not going to keep you from enjoying it. You need to know more about this, and understand what your body requires.

I would suggest you go through this site for some information. You can also approach a psychologist or a sexologist, you need not feel embarassed about this at all, it is one of the most common questions that they face.
