I have cyst like areas on my vulva that look like cold sores. It is like one area that is hard like a cyst and takes approx. 5-7 days to heal up. It is a small area, but has like 2-3 little sores within the same knot. I am also having a mod. amt of vaginal discharge that is milky in color with no odor. It seems when I have intercourse or wear thong underwear, this occurs. What is it? I was checked once before scared to death that it was herpes, and it checked out negative and the doc told me that it was called chaffing. What is your opinion? I have been with the same partner for 8 years.

Reply to Deborah's Post: It is located on the left side of my vulva, and this is the same place it always occurs.

I would suggest that you check with your GYN as you may have what is known as a Bartholin's Cyst. Click on the link to learn more and let me know what questions you ay have.
